How To Set/Change DNS Servers Addresses

Well, since I last posted mtnl DNS servers, I thought I should also put how to set/change them.

Right Click ‘My Network Places’ icon and select ‘Properties’, ‘Network Connections’ window appears.

Right Click on your Broadband Connection Icon and click on ‘Properties’, the properties window appears.

In the ‘General’ Tab of the window that appears, double click on ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)’.

Now click on ‘Use the following DNS server Addresses’ and enter the addresses in the space provided.

If you want to enter all of the DNS server addresses mentioned here, click the advanced button in the same window, go to ‘DNS’ tab, click on ‘Add’. Enter the Address and click Add. To add more, click ‘Add’ again.

Click on the respective OKs to apply the settings.

Note: Enter the addresses whose ping time is less.
